Drug Uses
Seroquel improves symptoms associated with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder by affecting certain brain receptors. Seroquel is proved to be effective for acute healing of manic episodes in patients.
How Taken
Seroquel comes in tablets to be taken by mouth. Dose may vary from 25mg to 300mg and should be recommended by your doctor.
Additional Information
Seroquel may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision. These effects may worsen if Seroquel is taken with alcohol or certain other medications. Use Seroquel with caution. Don't drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you respond to this drug. If your symptoms don't improve or if they worsen, call your doctor. This medicine should be used only by the patient for whom it has been advised. Do not take less or more or take it more often than directed by your doctor.
